Joe Beliveau
The Beliveau Undercover Operations & Narcotics Training Agency was founded by Joe Beliveau. Joe just retired after working 29 years with the Illinois State Police. The majority of his 29 year career was spent working in an undercover capacity. Joe previously worked as a TFO with the United States Postal Inspections Service working parcel interdiction. He has been involved in thousands of investigations including street level drug conspiracy cases with more than 50 defendants, undercover narcotic operations, undercover murder for hire investigations, undercover car theft investigations, cargo theft investigations, and large club/prostitution house investigations. During his career, Joe's leadership positions within his department have included: Director of a 20 man undercover narcotics unit, Field Supervisor of a 15 man undercover narcotics unit, Supervisor of the Meth Response Team, Supervisor of a Gun Unit, Supervisor of a multi-agency proactive street crime unit in one of the most dangerous cities in the United States. Joe has been recognized as an expert witness in federal court and state court reference the distribution of narcotics. Having worked in narcotics nearly his entire career, Joe has been placed in dangerous situations which include robberies and vehicular invasions during undercover operations. Instructors for our agency will incorporate these types of operations into their presentations. Joe organized and supervised one of the most successful street crime details in Illinois resulting in the seizure of over 500 firearms, the arrest of thousands of individuals, and the incarceration of many violent offenders in two and a half years. Agents assigned to this detail continually faced armed individuals and were involved in multiple officer involved shooting incidents.

Joe K.
Joe K. is a veteran law enforcement officer with over 20 years of police experience. Upon graduating from the Academy, he was assigned to patrol on the midnight shift. Joe was selected to the Tactical Response Team (TRT) in August 1997. In September 1998, the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) was created, which led to the formation of three full-time Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Teams. During his 15 year assignment to SOCOM, Joe participated in over 1000 tactical operations and held the following positions: Tactical Operator, Squad Leader, Assistant Team Leader, Operations Lieutenant, and SOCOM Commander. Joe also served as an instructor for the SWAT Operator Selection and School, and was a certified Explosive Breacher, Small Watercraft Operator, and Close Quarter Battle instructor. Joe additionally trained with several military special operations groups throughout the United States, and is a veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm serving as a U.S. Army M.P. In November 2012, Joe accepted the position as the Narcotics Commander with investigations. During this time, he commanded two undercover narcotic units, a street crimes unit, and a methamphetamine unit. Joe has received the Medal of Valor, Unit Citation, and Service Ribbon.

Kurt E.
A 28 year law enforcement officer who has specialized in Narcotics and Tactical Operations. Kurt has spent 13 years of his law enforcement career as a SWAT operator and held a command rank within a multi-jurisdictional Special Response Team for 7 years. Kurt has also spent 17 years of his law enforcement career working in the Narcotics Division. During his career he has worked thousands of drug investigations in both the state and federal level. He also was the Assistant Commander and prepared the Operational Plan for dignitary protection detail for the Speaker of the House in 2013. During his career he has conducted operational plans and participated in over 400 high-risk tactical operations. He has helped develop training in Undercover Operations, Surveillance, Emergency Officer Rescues, and Managing Confidential Informants.

Tyson M.
Tyson has been a law enforcement officer since 1996. He is an expert in the field of ground defensive tactics, defensive tactics, firearm retention, and power handcuffing through the National Law Enforcement Training Center. Tyson has spent approximately 11 years working in different narcotics units and has acted in an undercover capacity many times purchasing firearms and narcotics. During his law enforcement career, Tyson has also been assigned to patrol, homicide, and internal investigations. Tyson is often sought out by his peers and supervisors to handle complex cases and deal with the most difficult defendants.
Zach H.
Zach has been employed by one of the largest police agencies in the State Of Illinois for thirteen years. His Eight year assignment to Criminal Patrol working Interstate 55 and Interstate 70 has resulted in over 66 significant self-initiated felony traffic stops. Felony crimes range from Narcotics Trafficking, to Money Laundering, Credit Card fraud and Identity theft. Rescued a missing/endangered 16 year old female picked up in Ohio by Sociopathic Sexual Predator in route to California on cold traffic stop. Zach has over 240 hours of specified teaching, has conducted numerous police officer ride alongs, and in 2014, presented in front of a law enforcement crowd of approximately 1,400 in Tennessee regarding aforementioned rescued teen.

Chuck T.
Chuck is a police officer with over 23 years of county, municipal and state law enforcement experience. Currently assigned to a full time, multi discipline, Special Weapons and Tactics Team, Chuck has extensive experience from which to draw. Over the past 17 years, he has served in a wide variety of operational capacities within SWAT, including: Master Breacher, SWAT medic, WMD subject matter expert, Assaulter, Squad leader, and Team Leader. He is considered a state subject matter expert in SWAT operations. Chuck has been involved in nearly two thousand critical incidents, including: hostage rescue missions, high risk warrants, fugitive apprehensions, under-cover operations, agent rescue operations, dignitary protection, and terrorism detection/prevention missions. During his tenure, he has experienced a broad spectrum of tactics, techniques, and procedures, which he uses as a foundation for his instruction.
Kyle R.
Kyle is a police officer with over 10 years of state law enforcement experience. Currently assigned to a full time, multi discipline, Special Weapons and Tactics Team. Over the past 10 years, he has served in a wide variety of operational capacities within SWAT, including: Assaulter, Energetic Breacher, Sniper/Observer, Maritime Operations, and the Statewide Weapons of Mass Destruction Team. Kyle is
a state certified pistol, rifle, CQB, and sniper instructor. Kyle has been involved in numerous critical incidents, including: hostage rescue missions, high risk warrants, fugitive apprehensions, under-cover operations, agent rescue operations, dignitary protection, and terrorism detection/prevention missions. During his tenure, he has experienced a broad spectrum of tactics, techniques, and procedures, which he uses as a
foundation for his instruction.

Bret B.
Bret is a police officer with over 11 years of state law enforcement experience. Currently assigned to a full time, multi discipline, Special Weapons and Tactics Team, Bret has extensive experience from which to draw. Over the past 9 years, he has served in a wide variety of operational capacities within SWAT, including: Statewide Breaching Coordinator, Less Lethal Instructor, Assaulter, Elevated Assaults team, Maritime Operations, and team Squad leader. He is considered a statewide subject matter expert in SWAT operations, Explosive Breaching and Operational Planning.
Bret is a state certified pistol, rifle, CQB, control / arrest tactics and active shooter instructor. Bret has been involved in numerous critical incidents, including: hostage rescue missions, high risk warrants, fugitive apprehensions, under-cover operations, agent rescue operations, rural manhunts, dignitary protection, and terrorism detection/prevention missions. During his tenure, he has experienced a broad spectrum of tactics, techniques, and procedures, which he uses as a foundation for his instruction.
